FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use when operating well and simultaneously determining parameters of polluted bottom zone of productive formation. Operation of well includes injecting formation fluid into formation, measuring injection pressure and fluid intake, and mathematically treating data of measurements of water permeability, piezoconductivity, bottom zone radius, and skin-effect factor. In well head, pulse unsteady formation fluid injection process is created with stepped changes of fluid intake from minimum to maximum values with specified periods. Each 5 to 60 sec, pressure, density, and intake of injected formation fluid are measured in well head, which data are translated to bottom zone conditions. For each measurement under pulse unsteady formation fluid injection conditions, during injections under each injection mode, repression function is determined characterizing unsteady flow of fluid in bottom zone of well during injection under given injection mode. For each injection mode, graph of repression function versus logarithm of injection time under given injection mode is plotted. In each graph, initial inclined linear sections are underlined to determine water permeability and piezoconductivity of polluted bottom zone as well as its radius and skin-effect factor.
