FIELD: heating equipment, in particular, smelting ingots of refractory metals and alloys, for example, from titan. SUBSTANCE: inner jacket of cooling system of vacuum arc furnace is made from tubes, which are arranged in vertical position about complete ingot mold, are spaced and connected by means of plates, which are made from steel sheets. Ends of outer jacket are equipped with upper and lower ring chambers, which are designed as integral whole with it. Side of upper chamber is connected to each tube, carries hydraulic valves on its bottom ring disk. Side of lower chamber is connected to tube ends by means of nozzles, which are mounted coaxially to input pieces of inner jacket tubes, which are connected to chambers and tube ends by means of plates. EFFECT: increased service life of ingot mold, increased reliability of device operations, decreased usage of cooling medium. 3 cl, 2 dwg
