CUTTING CHAIN FOR ORE AND FINISHED PRODUCT LOADER Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: mining machinery. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining machinery, in particular, machines designed for loading common salt, ore and finished products of potassium mines from storehouses for delivery to concentration mill or hoppers. Cutting chain of machine has two parallel hinge-and-leaf chains with supporting axial and guide cross rollers and cutting bodies with front, changeable transient and side cutting members mounted transversely. Changeable transient and side cutting members are made in form of two multisector cup cutters with central mounting hole hinge-mounted by means of pins and secured at edges of cutting bodies. Cup cutters are set into rotation with use of all sectors in operation when dipped into material to be cut. Cup cutters are installed by lower contour of cutting edge relative to lower cutting edge of front cutting members of cutting bodies with downward equal in value to maximum tolerable wear of cup cutters. EFFECT: provision of operation of all sectors with uniform wear, improved operation reliability and strength of cutting chain. 2 cl, 3 dwg
