FIELD: earth-moving machinery; drilling of pits. SUBSTANCE: front-end equipment includes boom coupled with base machine on which working member in form of drill with drive is mounted, and control hydraulic cylinders one of which serves for lifting the boom, and the other, to control working member. Base machine is coupled with boom through drill vertical displacement hinge-and-lever mechanism which includes post, two spacer links and tie-rod. Post and spacer links are mechanically coupled with base machine and boom, and tie-rod is located in closed outline of displacement mechanism for hinge coupling of post and spacer link. Post is rigidly secured on base machine, and spacer links are mounted on post one over the other being coupled with boom and forming with the latter an articulated-lever four-member rectilinear guide mechanism. Upper spacer link plays part of crank, and lower spacer link, a connecting rod. Boom is controlled by hydraulic cylinder placed in closed outline of displacement mechanism. Hydraulic cylinder connects post with middle part of connecting rod. Boom with crank forms angle within 30 and 155 deg. First value of angle corresponds to upper position of boom, and second value, to its lower position, Axles of joints of crank and connecting rod holding them on post lie on one vertical line. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of front-end equipment of hydraulic excavator at quality drilling. 2 dwg
