FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed device installed over carrying surface of conveyor has drum with solid side surface and drive. Axle of rotation of drum is arranged at side of conveyor being installed at angle of 1-3° relative to carrying surface of conveyor opposite to direction of material movement. Lower edge of drum is made of elastic material Drum is connected with drive by means of planetary gear train consisting of drive carrier with freely fitted on planet pinion brought into engagement with epicyclic wheel furnished with brake closed on housing. Epicyclic wheel is coupled with carrier by means of clutch. Planet pinion is interlocked with drum which is installed with eccentricity relative to carrier. Proposed device can operate at fixed and sliding eccentricity modes. Effective operation of device is provided owing to optimum kinematic movement of drum basing on physical and mechanical properties of re-loaded bulk load, its nonhomogeneity and aggregative state.
