FIELD: mining; applicable in underground leaching of deposits of potassium-magnesium salts with commercial content of gold. SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling of production holes according to definite pattern down to carnallite deposit, then these holes are interconnected with the help of hydraulic fracturing, and water is injected through one holes and pumped out through the other holes. In case of detection of commercial content of gold it is recovered from brine. Upon completion of chamber washing out, shoe of brine-lifting pipe string is located near chamber bottom, and nonsoluble gold-containing sediments are pumped out for gold recovery. EFFECT: efficient recovery of gold as a product in leaching of carnallite.
