FIELD: centrifugal fans. SUBSTANCE: inlet module is designed for centrifugal channel fan connected to rectangular conduits. Module provides for smooth intake of air into fan, for reduction of its noise and control over flow rate of air. It has case in the form of parallelepiped with inlet and outlet holes of rectangular type located in opposite butts of case perpendicular to its longitudinal axis, aid with guiding wall to direct flow manufactured in the form of longitudinal insert produced from glass wool of high density to reduce noise. Insert is placed in case with formation of conduit that has cross-section of rectangle and communicates with inlet and outlet holes. Surface that limits insert, faces flow and borders over perimeter on walls of case is used as guiding wall. It borders with one lateral edge on bigger side of inlet and with another side on outlet holes. To ensure smooth intake of air guiding wall comes in the form of curve arc-shaped in longitudinal section, faces flow with convex side and is so oriented that conduit narrows in path of flow. Guiding blades mounted in conduit for turning and put in front of outlet hole are provided to control flow rate.
