FIELD: reduction of noise from aerodynamic sources.
SUBSTANCE: noise silencer has internal tube with input and output holes; tube forms channel for passing air through. Tube is made of permeable shape-preserving fiber-porous polymer material, for example, of fiber-porous polyethylene or fiber-porous polypropylene. Tube is provided with airtight internal case made of galvanized steel sheet. Case is mounted to have gap relatively the tube and is filled with sound-absorbing material, for example, glass wool.
EFFECT: improved degree of noise reduction within standardized frequency spectrum.
