FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use as transducer for contact-free measurement of torque of steering-wheel shaft in system of control over electromechanical amplifier of steering wheel. Transducer has torsion shaft, case housing frame of inductance coils with windings and screens with windows punched in them. Two parts of shaft are joined by torsion shaft. Screens manufactured in the form of discs are mounted near butts of parts of shaft facing each other. Windows in rows of first screen are displaced. Row of windows of second screen covers both rows of windows of first screen by width. Windows of both screens may have trapezoidal or rectangular section. Frame of induction coils comes in the form of disc bordering on one of screens and is spring- loaded relative to case. Windings of coils are placed in ring grooves of frame. Surface of frame facing screen is fitted with antifriction gasket. EFFECT: enhanced stability of output characteristic, simplified design and improved adaptability to manufacture. 14 cl, 2 dwg
