FIELD: mechanical engineering; aircraft engine manufacture. SUBSTANCE: during tests for degree and kind of dynamic unbalance at maximum speed of turbojet engine rotor air contained between rotor blades is isolated from medium surrounding the rotor so that it can move in step with rotor disk thereby preventing rotary motion of mentioned medium and making it build up noticeable drag moments. Device implementing this method has driving equipment of test facility rig for rotor under test with complete set of disk-mounted blades and sensing members with dynamic unbalance display units. Entire rotor disk with complete set of blades is shielded from surrounding atmosphere or its peripheral part carrying blades is partially shielded by means of air-tight shell made in the form of aerodynamic shielding cowl coupled with rotor under test or its shaft and provided with external annular-symmetry surface. Shielding cowl may be built up of two polyamide, fiberglass, or caprone-fiber transparent semi-disks fitted either side of rotor disk on its shaft and fixed together through their annular peripheral areas by means of fast-splitting joint. EFFECT: facilitated procedure, reduced time of check. 4 cl, 2 dwg
