FIELD: converter engineering; control systems for induction heating plants. SUBSTANCE: current inverter operating into load in the form of parallel oscillatory circuit is controlled by shaping and sequential supply of control pulses to diodes that form forward and reverse voltage half-waves across load. In the process instant voltage across load is measured, moments of its crossing zero value are determined, next control pulses are fed to diodes at moments when instant voltage across load is crossing zero, time interval between these moments is set, measured time interval is compared with preset value, and if it exceeds the latter, supply of control pulses to diodes is ceased. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 2 dwg
