FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves testing acupuncture channels state. Channels are determined that have the most marked influence on arterial blood pressure normalization. Input-output points of the detected channels are exposed to infrared radiation pulses of 780-2500 nm wavelength. Power density is 100-150 mW/cm2. Frequency is 15-35 Hz. On/off time ratio is equal to 0.5-0.7. Operation mode is 20-30 s of action, 180-300 s long pause. Device has casing having arterial blood pressure pickup placed inside, control unit, switch unit, infrared radiation generator unit and infrared radiation emitter unit. Arterial blood pressure pickup is designed as plate mountable on finger tip. Infrared radiation emitter is positioned above the input-output point of the corresponding channel. Pressure pickup output is connected with control unit input through recorder unit. Control unit output and infrared radiation generator output are connected with infrared radiation emitter.
