FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular, to reflexotherapy, and can be used for individual selection of a hypoglycemic agent and dosage thereof in diabetes. Training measurements of the level of glycemia of the patient are conducted before and after receiving the hypoglycemic agent. The obtained results are processed. The level of glycemia of the patient and the sensitivity thresholds (ST) are simultaneously estimated at diagnostic points of a number of acupuncture channels (AC) in the course of Akabane thermopuncture testing. Correlation and regression models of AC bonds are built based on the Akabane testing data obtained during training measurements with the level of glycemia and the effect of the hypoglycemic agent depending on the dosage thereof. AC with the most significant association with the level of glycemia and the effect of the hypoglycemic agent according to the reliability criterion (p) are identified based on the data of correlation and regression models. The adhesion coefficient C is determined as the ratio of the amount of channels in the correlation and regression models affected by the level of glycemia and the amount of channels affected by the hypoglycemic agent. The asymmetry coefficient (K) is determined for each AC as the ratio of the sensitivity thresholds of the right and left AC branches according to the formula K=(STright/STleft). Based on the value of C, the hypoglycemic agent is selected. Selection of the dosage of the selected agent is conducted based on the values of K.
EFFECT: method provides a possibility of selecting a hypoglycemic agent, the dosage thereof in diabetes mellitus, due to the data from Akabane thermopuncture testing.
