FIELD: ion-exchange separation. SUBSTANCE: invention provides novel resin with essentially repeating motives selected from group including those with general formula I: (I), in which Q is phosphorus, R, all the same, are C1-C6-alkyls, x+y=1, x is from around 0.2 to around 1.0, and X is a counterion; II: (II), in which R, all the same, are C1-C6-alkyls, n is integer from 1 to 6, m integer from 1 to 4, p integer from 1 to 6, x+y=1, x is from around 0.2 to around 1.0, and X is a counterion; III: (III), in which n is integer from 2 to 6, , x+y=1, x is from around 0.2 to around 1.0, , and X is a counterion; IV: (IV), in which one of A, B, and D is nitrogen atom, n is integer from 1 to 6, x+y=1, x is from around 0.2 to around 1.0, and X is a counterion; and V: (V), wherein one of A, B, and D is nitrogen atom and one of A', B', and D' D is nitrogen atom, each of R and R' is C1-C6-alkyl, R' is linked to one of A, B, or D, which is nitrogen, n is integer from 2 to 6, a+b+c+d=1, and a+b is from around 0.2 to around 1.0, , and X is a counterion. EFFECT: increased selectivity in binding ions of certain metals from solutions. 13 cl, 5 tbl, 11 ex
