FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling mill products, namely to a technique of sheet metal production. In order to improve useful qualities of the steel metal as well as its surface hardness, semi-finished rolled steel products of 08ps steel grade are hot rolled followed by winding of the strip under the temperature of 710…740°C, cold rolling to produce sheet metal of 0.17 mm thick and annealing of the sheet metal in the drawing tower furnace of the continuous annealing unit with the speed of 110…170 m/min and the furnace temperature being 730±30°C, and the metal temperature is maintained in the range of 650…690°C.
EFFECT: improved useful qualities of the steel metal as well as its surface hardness.
