FIELD: development of calibration instruments and reference samples for calibration and test of gas analytical devices. SUBSTANCE: active component of steam-and-gas mixture-readily volatile substance in the amount proceeding from specified value of concentration of calibration steam-and-gas mixture is applied and uniformly distributed on sorbent located in vessel in correspondence with relationship is given in the specification. Vessel is thermostated and is blown through with gas stream over closed or open circuit with adherence to condition of quasi-balanced mass exchange between adsorbed readily volatile substance and its gas phase over surface of layer C.
