METHOD OF EVALUATION OF GAS AND OIL FIELD Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2153182 C1

FIELD: geophysics, probing of lithosphere for oil and gas. SUBSTANCE: hydrocarbon substance is excited by external vibration field while evaluating gas and oil field and spectrum of own response of field is recorded by three-component geophone. In addition time of attenuation of response signal after disconnection of source of external excitation is measured and amplitude of spatial wave of response under steady-state mode is recorded in discrete time moments by cruciform family of geophones uniformly spaced over measurement base. Sequence of discrete readings of dependence of amplitude of spatial wave on coordinates in the form of lines is formed by each measured component. Spatial spectra of response signal is computed by each coordinate and characteristics of field are evaluated. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity, timeliness and accuracy of method, decreased cost of conducted operations. 6 dwg
