FIELD: ATM communication equipment. SUBSTANCE: input time interval commutation unit is connected to input interface of switching telephone network for commutation of channel data received through communication lines, into voice sequence data, which are grouped according their destinations (addressees), by means of sorting received channel data according to time intervals corresponding to numbers of addressee time interval commutation units. Input units for multiplexing and demultiplexing data elements are connected to input time interval commutation units for multiplexing voice data groups targeted to single addressee into identical ATM data element. ATM commutator is connected to input unit for multiplexing and demultiplexing data elements and to ATM interface for automatic routing of ATM data element, commutation of ATM data element and sending the switched ATM data element to addressee. Unit for multiplexing and demultiplexing of addressee data provides demultiplexing of ATM data element, received from ATM commutator into voice sequence data. Output time interval commutation units are inserted between unit for multiplexing and demultiplexing of data elements and switching telephone network interface of addressee. This allows sorting of time intervals of demultiplexed voice sequence data according to addressees and sending respective sorted voice sequence data to respective interface of switching telephone network of addressee. Device provides prevention of delays of data element transmission upon multiplexing voice data in different channels for generation of data elements in each frame.
