FIELD: ozone generators. SUBSTANCE: ozone generator has housing accommodating system of tubular dielectric electrodes connected with high- voltage, high-frequency voltage source. Each tubular dielectric electrode consists of dielectric tube accommodating a conductor. Provided between neighboring dielectric tube is discharge gap blown through with oxygen or oxygen-containing medium. In this case, discharge gap value between tubular dielectric electrodes and their diameter provides for the fact that break-down voltage of this gap is at least five times as low as voltage needed for charging the entire surface of dielectric electrode. There is a clearance between conductor and dielectric tube. The clearance is connected with source of liquid dielectric coolant used as glycerin. Dielectric tube may be made of glass, quartz or ceramic material. EFFECT: higher productivity, reduced dimensions, weight and cost price. 11 cl, 3 dwg
