FIELD: water and air purification technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the purification of NOx gases, SO2, H2S, NH3, organic and inorganic substances. Disclosed group of inventions relates to method and device for cleaning air flow. Device for cleaning air flow in discharge nonequilibrium plasma in cavity between heteropolar electrodes, with the possibility of formation of atomic and electronically excited oxygen, as well as ozone, contains electrodes, in the cavities of which there are conductors. Electrodes are made in the form of capillary dielectric tubes with diameter less than 3 mm and are located across the gas flow at a distance from each other of 1–1.5 mm and in parallel in two rows so, that distance between electrodes in row is twice more than distance between rows and is equal to 2–3 mm. Conductors are connected in each row and connected to different polarity of high-frequency voltage source. Capillary dielectric tubes are made of quartz.
EFFECT: invention reduces gas movement time in the discharge zone and increases ozone production.
