FIELD: generation of ozone by means of electrical discharge. SUBSTANCE: proposed ozone generator includes system of cooled electrodes located in housing; each electrode consists of dielectric tube with conducting rod placed inside it and connected to high-voltage AC source; tubes are separated at equidistant gaps; discharge gaps between electrodes are connected with oxygen-containing gas source. Used as dielectric tubes are capillary tubes with metal rod inside them; gap between this rod and walls of tubes is blown with oxygen-containing gas; this gas is used as discharge zone; metal rod is connected to one pole of voltage source; external cooled surface of tubes coated with conducting layer is electrically connected with second pole of voltage source. External surface of dielectric tubes coated with conducting compound ensures effective dissipation of heat from discharge zone using gas as cooling blown through slots between tubes. EFFECT: enhanced operational safety; reduced volume of ozonizer; reduced cost of manufacture; increased productivity. 3 cl, 6 dwg
