FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: mazut is subjected to vacuum distillation at residual pressure 30-50 mm Hg in the top of column to yield of heavy goudron. At least 70% of the latter is combined with organic additives until conditional viscosity between 40 and 120 s at 80 C and needle penetration 400-480*0.1 mm (35 C) are attained, after which mixture is oxidized. Product can contained up to 30 wt % of weighted goudron and polyaromatic hydrocarbon concentrates are used as organic additives.
