FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of oil processing, particularly to method of bitumen production by oxidation. The method includes treatment of the feed stock with production of the target bitumen and its further compounding to produce paving bitumen. At that fraction of light oil and vacuum oil tar are obtained by treatment of oily wastes under residual pressure of 8-10 mm of mercury at temperature of 205-360°C. Then vacuum oil tar is compounded with oxidised oil tar; the latter is obtained by oxidation of oily wastes at temperature less than 240°C and air flow rate up to 3.3 l/kg/min-1. At that the result of compounding is paving bitumen with penetration index from 89 up to 158 units at 25°C.
EFFECT: technical result includes cutting time for production from oily wastes of paving bitumen complying with regulatory requirements, reducing total energy costs for bitumen production; besides output of light oils from the feed stock is increased due to prevention of excess formation of low grade conversion products such as black solar and pitch.
