FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: spent oils are filtered through layer of adsorbent and sand at adsorbent: sand weight ratio ranging from 1: 0.5 to 1:50. Adsorbent includes charcoal or black coal or coke, or asbestos, or kaolin or silica gel. Dispersity of adsorbent particles varies from 160-250 mcm, dispersity of sand particles varies from 160 to 450 mcm. EFFECT: cheaper technology of refining oils due to additional treatment of oils and increased volume of adsorbent by 10-60 times. 3 cl, 38 ex, 1 tbl
