FIELD: valve mechanisms of high-pressure vessels for releasing emergency pressure increasing at rate almost equal to that of explosion, for example in nuclear reactors. SUBSTANCE: safety valve device for high-pressure vessels includes valve in the form of lid of high-pressure vessel, fastening-breaking unit and catching brake. The last is in the form of stems and sleeves mounted with interference fit one relative to another. Stems are mounted in openings of lid and they are secured to body of vessel with possibility of forming gap between sleeves and outer surface of lid. Fastening-breaking unit has calibrated fastening members uniformly arranged along perimeter of lid. Value of gap between lid and sleeve is selected more than elongation value of calibrated fastening members at their breakage. EFFECT: possibility of providing uniform braking and arresting of vessel lid after it is spaced from vessel body by predetermined distance, enhanced reliability and operational safety of valve device. 3 cl, 3 dwg
