Abstract RU 2153740 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering, applicable in production of secondary current sources. SUBSTANCE: electric cell has a casing with end walls. A block of plane, rectangular alternating positive and negative electrodes with separators between them is built in it with transverse fixing. Holes separated into two groups are made directly in the rectangular field of each electrode on the opposite sides at an equal distance from the center. The holes of the first group are enveloped by contact elements around the edges with provision of contact of the first category. The electrodes are reciprocally turned in their planes through 180 deg. so that the holes of the first group (with contact elements) are aligned in alternating sequence and form two parallel ducts. Similar conducting coupling joints, for example studs, preferably tubular ones, are passed through the ducts. They fix the end walls and are coupled by contact elements with provision of contact of the first category. It is good practice to make them in the form of sleeves, in particular tubular rivets. The contact elements at least partially are deepened with a gap in the holes of the second group. The separators are made with holes located similarly to the holes of the first and second groups. Their diameter is less than the diameter of the hole of the second group. EFFECT: improved technical and operating characteristics due to reduced ohmic resistance, enhanced compactness of device, stiffness of the casing and block of electrodes. 8 cl, 3 dwg
