FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method of starting of electric motor working in mix of electric machine frequency drive which is electric machine frequency converter and is made in its turn of driving electric motor connected to common electric network and generator ( most frequently, synchronous ) set in motion by it as well as actuating motor ( asynchronous or synchronous ) consists in connection of actuating motor to common network at most complex interval of start ( from low to intermediate speeds of rotation ). Generator to which this period is also most complicated is completely excluded from starting process and motor is accelerated most efficiently since voltage fall in network incommensurable in power in comparison with generator is also substantially less than voltage fall caused by start of motor from generator. EFFECT: improved mass and size characteristics of electric machine frequency drive, decreased manufacturing cost, enhanced functional reliability and prolonged service life of it. 1 dwg
