FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric starters for starting gas turbine plants used in gas pumping units and electric stations. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the proposed electric starter for the gas turbine plant start-up contains a one-way clutch cam, reduction gear, asynchronous electric motor connected to power supply network via frequency converter, equipped with electric starter rotation speed meter, and electric starter start-up device, wherein electric starter for starting gas turbine plant is made with observance of identical ratio

EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of explosion-proof electric starter with dimensions, which enable to mount an electric start system with electric starter in operating conditions, without completion of connection points and additional places for placement in gas turbine plant, with sufficient and optimum developed moment of electric starter asynchronous motor, not critical heating of its windings, which allows to perform reliable and safe electric start-up of gas turbine plant.
