SUBSTANCE: after transit of voltage of supplying network through zero capacitor charged to voltage selected from ratio determined by relation of number of turns to which capacitor is connected to number of all turns of primary winding multiplied by amplitude value of voltage of supplying network is connected simultaneously with connection of supplying network to turns of primary winding of transformer in agreement with method of formation of high-power current pulses in low-resistance load. Device for formation of high-power current pulses in low-resistance load incorporates transformer with load in secondary winding, two bi-directional keys, variable voltage source, control unit, capacitor and charger.
