FIELD: forestry, in particular, equipment for clearing areas planted with forest crops from unwanted brushes. SUBSTANCE: brush cutter has supporting skids and auxiliary cutters. Conical reducer is rotating with respect to brush cutters longitudinal axes. Cutters have front clearance angle of 90 deg. Cutters may be mounted at both sides of reducer or may be arranged in succession at one side of reducer, with one of skids being secured to ends of succession of cutters. Succession of cutters may be mounted at left or right side of reducer. Reducer is actuated for rotation through angle of 0-75 deg with respect to horizontal plane by hydraulic cylinder. Cutting edges of cutters are positioned on square shaft. EFFECT: improved forest crop care, reduced brush cutter manufacture costs, including reduction of costs due to reduced manufacture of special-purpose brush cutters. 5 cl, 5 dwg
