DEVICE FOR NEEDLE DRAWING-IN Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: medicine; applicable in performance of injections. SUBSTANCE: device has unit for drawing-in needle adapted for drawing-in hollow needle 10 after use, hollow body part 4 whose one end has end wall having fastening part 8 including channel for needle and hollow needle 10. The latter has fastening means and capable of moving between the first position in which needle end part protrudes from front end part of said fastening part 8, and the second position in which needle is drawn inside hollow body part 4. The fastening means includes flexible means 28 which displaces needle 10 to the second position. Needle 10 has thick part 18 in section separated from its leading end part. Thick part accommodates drawing-in locking means for holding the needle in its first position up to end of its use. Said drawing-in locking means includes combination of packing ring 20 located in surrounding groove in said thick part and adjacent to end of coupling 36 which may be pressed-in forward for displacement of packing ring 20, so as to provide motion of needle 10 from the first to the second position under action of flexible means 28.
