FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: first-crystallization massecuite loaded into centrifuge is warmed to 68-72 C to ensure minimum viscosity. Cleansing of sugar crystals is started 15-25 s after massecuite is loaded into rotor of centrifuge. To that aim, water at temperature 80-95 C is used. Resulting sugar, prior to be discharged from centrifuge, is partially dried to moisture content 0.8-1.5%. Under these conditions, amount of sugar discharged from centrifuge rises by 2-2.4%, while total centrifuging cycle reduces by 8-12%. Quality characteristics of sugar are better and loss of sugar less. EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency. 1 tbl
