METHOD OF DELIVERY OF RAW MATERIAL TO ALUMINUM ELECTROLYZER AND DEVICE FOR REALIZATION OF THIS METHOD Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2154127 C1

FIELD: manufacture of aluminum. SUBSTANCE: raw material is delivered to electrolyzer through lined cavity of through hole in self-baking anode; raw material is delivered continuously by mechanical forcing together with protective sintered layer from electrochemical consumption of anode at ration of (1000 - 80000) : 1. Through hole is formed by coaxially mounted pipes. Inner pipe of device is provided with drive for rotation around axis with outer surface having form of screw conveyer. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 6 cl, 5 dwg, 3 tbl
