FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying ultrasonic examination. Physiological salt solution is retrogradely introduced through Folley catheter in portions of 20 ml in performing longitudinal scanning. Filling and evacuation process is written to film. Reservoir contractility is determined from reservoir cross- section areas ratio in performing longitudinal scanning after and before the contraction phase using a formula (S-(S-S′)/S)/ x 100%, where S is the reservoir cross- section area before contraction and S′ is the reservoir cross-section area after contraction. The contractile activity being lower than 30%, reduced intrapelvic intestinal reservoir contractility is to be diagnosed. The contractile activity being equal to 30- 40%, satisfactory contractility is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and adequacy of diagnosis method.
