FIELD: sorting out of bank notes. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device designed for separating packs of bank notes and delivering them into sorting machine. Said device consists of lifting table with drive to feed pack to move-off device consisting of feed pneumatic plate and vacuum sheet gripping unit, vacuum return roller and air nozzles for loosening the pack. Vacuum unit includes perforated belt being part of machine transporting system and vacuum chamber in which vacuum is built by ejector. Belt perforations form group of holes whose number and arrangement are defined by required zones of bank note gripping and holding. Groups of holes are arranged at definite pitch defined by maximum length of bank note and required clearance between bank notes. pneumatic plate is sectional, consisting at least of plate with channels to deliver compressed air and of number of nozzles manufactured separately and secured in plate. Pickup to check width of zone of bank notes loosened layer is specially introduced being made in form of row of optical focused pickups sensing reflection from pack edge and maintainer of preset width of loosened layer operating by signals from loosened layer width checking pickup is additionally introduced.
