FIELD: treatment of surfaces before application of coats; polishing, grinding, roughing and hardening surfaces. SUBSTANCE: liquid fed to mixing chamber is sprayed by flow of spraying gas with the aid of two-component centrifugal injector with internal mixing; injector has two swirling chambers with tangential passages for delivery of liquid and spraying gas. Gas-and liquid vortex flow thus formed is accelerated in flow of working gas- energy carrier in supersonic nozzle and is cooled together with expanding gas in supersonic nozzle forming abrasive particles in form of crystallized drops of liquid. Multi-component jet escaping from nozzle consists of gas, drops of liquid and crystallized drops of liquid; it is directed to surface of article.
