SUBSTANCE: in the known charge the weighed portion of grain powder is formed with a gravimetric density of not less than 0.36 of the powder density; the grains of the weighed portion are made with relation between the diameter of the ducts and the thickness of the burning arch equal to 0.31 to 1.22. EFFECT: enhanced safety of the rate growth of pressure of powder gases, enhanced stability of burning and lower spread of shell muzzle velocities, enhanced close grouping of shots by 20 to 22%. 2 dwg
