FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: projectile comprises case with steel bottom and combustible casing with wall thickness making at least 1.5 of bottom wall thickness, powder shot and combustible locking elements. Bottom diametre below flange equals 1.01-1.21 of maximum diametre of the case. Note here that case wall thickness makes 0.5-3.1 of combustible arch of the shot powder element.

EFFECT: reliable obturation of powder gases, reduced fumes contamination, higher rate of fire and improved combat characteristics of projectile charge.
