FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves removing inflamed tissues of nail walls and ingrowing edge of the nail plate. Nail bed is excised with focused laser beam. Matrix and matrix bed are evaporated with focused laser beam. Nail bed, matrix and matrix bed are evaporated with a beam directed in parallel to the nail phalanx. Periosteum is exposed to defocused laser beam action. Holes are perforated in nail plate with laser beam. Sutures are put with soft tissues being brought under the nail plate. Dialdehyde cellulose napkins containing copper and Tykveol are applied. EFFECT: accelerated treatment; avoided complications.
