FIELD: cleaning of waste gases of industrial processes from methanol, particularly, methods of cleaning from methanol of gases of oxidation process of isopropylbenzene. SUBSTANCE: method of cleaning from methanol of waste gases of isopropylbenzene oxidation process is carried out in the presence of catalyst containing 0.05-0.5 wt.% of platinum deposited onto zeolite with binder in the form of SiO2. The method provides for cleaning of waste gases at temperature of about 100 C (85-120 C) up to residual content of methanol of less than 3 ppm. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl, 1 ex
