FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for affinating of raw sugar, preferably yellow sugar, has inertial centrifuge for separating affination massecuite. Inertial centrifuge has casing with affinated raw sugar and affinating liquid collectors, conical rotor mounted on drive shaft and provided with perforated shell and bottom, and affination massecuite preparing device. Device for heating and steam wetting of raw sugar is positioned above centrifuge rotor. Affinated massecuite preparing device is positioned above rotor bottom and is made in the form of continuous shell attached to perforated shell to define zone where affinating liquid is mixed with heated and wetted raw sugar. Centrifuge is further equipped with device for circulating affinating liquid from affinated liquid collector to mixing zone. EFFECT: increased efficiency by reduced dissolving of sugar crystals during affination process and increased yield. 1 dwg
