FIELD: equipment for separation of heterogeneous systems by means of centrifugal forces; sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed rotor includes taper perforated shell with circular passages, bottom accelerating bowl and filtering slotted sieve. Conicity angle of rotor shell ranges from 34 to 46 deg. Slotted sieve is formed by trapezoidal turns of wire located spirally forming horizontal slotted holes between turns. Wire turns are secured together by means of plates located between sieve and shell forming inclined passages for discharge of runoff syrup. Plates are located at angle of 30-60 deg. relative to generatrix of shell cone in direction opposite to sense of rotor rotation. Larger base of trapezoidal section of sieve wire is directed to working surface and angles at this base are equal to 25-45 deg. and 115-125 deg. Sieve is secured on shell by means of upper hold-down ring , accelerating bowl being used as lower hold-down ring. EFFECT: increase of sieve service life to 3-5 years; increase of sugar yield by 0.1-0.2%; improved quality of sugar. 3 dwg
