FIELD: thermal treatment of productive pool of highly viscous oil. SUBSTANCE: electric heater for thermal treatment of face zone of well has body, power supply cable, discs-electrodes put on current-carrying wire placed along axis of body. Discs-electrodes have perforation and are assembled in alternating pairs where upper discs-electrodes are connected to body and lower discs-electrodes are anchored on current-carrying wire. Heat-resistant insulators are positioned in in-disc intervals of current-carrying wire and body. Body of electric heater is filled with current- conducting liquid to level of upper disc-electrode. EFFECT: reduced heat losses and enhanced power of electric heater for thermal treatment. 2 dwg
