FIELD: protection against external magnetic field. SUBSTANCE: invention deals with protection of one axle of two mechanical units of system of rotary drive against external magnetic field. System of magnetic rotary drive includes at least two elements magnetized in axial direction, each being rigidly coupled to one mechanical unit and aimed for interaction. Magnetized elements are displaced axially one relative to another. Device for magnetic protection has two parts made of magnetic material and embracing mentioned system of magnetic rotary drive. Extension of each part in radial direction exceeds extension of two mentioned magnetized elements in this direction. Mentioned-above parts of magnetic material form certain axial space to diminish gradient of external magnetic field above system of magnetic rotary drive and their extension in axial direction ensures covering of system of magnetic rotary drive in this direction.
