FIELD: conditioning. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of conditioning of fluid medium flow at its passage from first zone with inlet hole into second zone arranged below first zone. According to proposed method medium flow is directed from first zone in longitudinal direction, is passed through increased-size passage area, is fractionated on collision surface transverse relative to longitudinal direction of flow, fractionated flow is directed, without reducing its velocity, symmetrically to longitudinal direction of flow through preset length from point of fractionation to second zone, then fractionated flow is accelerated at a certain section of above-indicated length and is mixed to obtain conditioned fluid medium flow in second zone. Set has inlet and outlet holes, chamber communicating with inlet hole, means for directing fractionated flow to outlet hole and flow mixing zone. Longitudinal size of collision surface is equal to size of inlet hole. Device for determining volumetric amount of medium in flow has metering unit and flow conditioning device made in form described above. Metering unit is installed in line with device. EFFECT: possibility of conditioning of fluid medium flow at its passage from first zone into second zone providing, at low head losses, characteristics of flow at second zone inlet which do not depend on characteristics of flow in first zone. 33 cl, 12 dwg
