FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: proposed flowmeter has tube with maximum inner diameter D which internal profile along flow of fluid medium is formed by three sections, barrier creating vortexes in fluid medium located in second section of tube with constant diameter D1 and aids for detection of signal located behind barrier along flow. Angle formed by internal wall of first section of tube and direction of flow has zero value in those points of tube where diameter of first section is correspondingly equal to D and D1. Third section of tube near its finish coinciding with finish of second section has circular boss of triangle profile whose boundary forms sharp edge. Internal wall of third section is positioned at angle of 9-20 degrees with reference to direction of flow. Such design of third section provides for separation of boundary layer of flow exactly at finish of second section. Given flowmeter displays linear dependence of output signal at low Reynolds numbers and ensures precise measurement of volume of gaseous atmosphere.
