FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing implant repeating the shape of the intervertebral disk and having a groove leading from the anterosuperior surface to the center of the inferior supporting surface after removing the remnants of the destroyed pulpous nucleus and a part of fibrous ring between the displaced and underlying vertebrae. Device is introduced into the groove. Fixing member (rod) is placed into its catching part and impactor unit is set so that the sharp edge of chisel comes into engagement with underlying vertebra body. On rotating the device in sagittal plane from down to the top, the displaced vertebra body is set and fixed at the same time in the correct position by moving the fixing member (rod) into the underlying vertebra body in delivering blows to the impactor unit head.
