FIELD: traumatology, in particular, treatment of injuries and diseases of vertebral column with employment of devices of external fixation. SUBSTANCE: to catch the required quantity of motor segments of vertebral column at expansion of the range of correction, use is made of three and more curved plates. Fixed on one curved plate are two adjacent vertebral, for instance, the injured and lower ones, creating a reposition moment of forces at the level of the most injured motor segment; transpedicular fixation of vertebral is added by fixation of the spinous process and rods are introduced in the injured vertebra directly in the body, passing by the U-link. The free ends of threaded rods are secured on the curved plates by means of compensating washers and nuts. The curved plates are interconnected through brackets by lateral screw links; the links rest on the brackets through compensating washers. The curved plates may be displaced relative to each other within 60 deg., which makes it possible to adequately solve the correction of position of the vertebral column in sagittal and frontal planes. On completion of device installation correction of vertebral column deformity is carried out. Applying compression-distraction forces in the points of fixation of the lateral screw link to one of the curved plates at rigid fixation of the lateral screw link to the other curved plate, deformity of the injured segment of the vertebral column is corrected. Angular deformities of the vertebral column are corrected by distraction forces on the concave side of the deformity arch during the whole period of correction. Displacement of threaded rods introduced in the vertebra bodies in forward-backward direction simultaneously provides for displacement of vertebra in the horizontal plane, and heterodirected displacement of rods in the horizontal plane makes it possible to eliminate rotary dislocations of vertebral. The curved shape of the plate also facilitates it. EFFECT: enhanced strength of fixation of the vertebral column, accuracy of reposition and efficiency of control of dislocation and deformity correction of vertebral in all planes. 4 cl, 5 dwg
