FIELD: medicine, endocrinology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to insulin-containing drug that is insulin immobilized on fresh blood erythrocytes in the presence of cross-linking agent in the ratio = 5-(10:100) in the amount of 1250-2000 U of insulin/1 g of dry mass. Method of preparing involves isolation of mammal blood erythrocytes by centrifugation, incubation of insulin with erythrocytes in the presence of cross-linking agent under condition of pendulum oscillation of mixture followed by washing out immobilized insulin with physiological solution for some cycles. In each cycle suspension is subjected for effect of centrifuge forces. Stabilizing agent is added and suspension is lyophilized. EFFECT: increased insulin content in oral medicinal form. 12 cl, 4 tbl
