FIELD: medicine, polypeptides. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polypeptide composition designated for treatment of patients by oral administration of polypeptide medicinal preparations in body. Polypeptide composition includes polypeptide hormone of molecular mass in the range from 1000 to 21000 Da as an active component, inhibitor of proteolytic enzymes, for example, soybean trypsin inhibitor, trypsin pancreatic inhibitor, aprotinin, avian egg protein ovomucoid and pharmaceutically acceptable water-soluble organic acid and water-soluble inert vehicle taken in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: polypeptide, 1.0-95.0; inhibitor of proteolytic enzymes, 0.02-10.0; organic acid, 1.0- 94.0 and inert vehicle, the balance. Indicated composition can contain additionally the known compounds facilitating penetration of polypeptides across mucosa membrane. Invention provides penetration of polypeptide of molecular mass 1000-21000 Da in blood stream and polypeptides penetrate in blood stream without their degradation.
